On Wednesday, April 03, 2024, Motorola introduced the Motorola Edge 50 Pro in India, making it the first worldwide unveiling of the product.
Powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro offers a suite of AI capabilities through Moto AI. These include AI Generative Theming, AI Photo Enhancement Engine, and AI Adaptive Stabilization, among others. The device packs up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The device is equipped with an AI-powered pro grade camera certified by Pantone, which ensures to capture vibrant colours. Additionally, it features a 1.5K True Colour Pantone Validated 3D curved display, which offers a refresh rate of 144Hz, 10-bit HDR10+ support, and a peak brightness of 2000 nits.
The device is equipped with a 6.7-inch 1.5K Super HD (1220p) pOLED screen, which delivers vibrant images with superior clarity and minimal pixelation.
This product features a design that combines a silicone vegan leather finish with a metal frame. It is equipped with IP68 underwater protection, which protects it from water damage. It is the first and only device in its segment to offer TurboPower 50W wireless charging. In addition, it supports 125W TurboPower charging and has 10W reverse power sharing capability.
Motorola has introduced a new feature called Style Sync. This feature leverages generative AI to create four different wallpaper options that reflect the user's attire, allowing users to personalize their phones to match their style. Users have the flexibility to choose from these options and set their favorite choice directly as their wallpaper.

The smartphone has a 50-megapixel primary camera with f/1.4 aperture, the largest available in a smartphone, allowing 64% more light for better low-light performance and naturally blurred backgrounds. The rear camera setup includes a 13MP ultrawide+ macro vision sensor and a 10MP telephoto camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), which offers 3X optical and 30X hybrid zoom to capture a wide variety of scenes with precision and clarity. The front camera is also equipped with a 50MP sensor and quad pixel technology, which merges four pixels into one for excellent results.

Motorola Edge 50 Pro is going to hit the market in two variants. The 8GB/256GB model, which comes with a 68W charger, is priced at Rs 31,999. On the other hand, the 12GB/256GB variant, which comes with a 125W charger, will be available for Rs 35,999. The sale will start from April 9 via Flipkart, the company's own website and offline stores. Apart from this, the company has also introduced some introductory offers.
